The Programme

The intern will gain a good understanding of the role of the Finance function.

In addition, the incumbent will also gain experience on the operations and processes adopted by the teams.

The Intern will also acquire broad banking knowledge and have an excellent opportunity to experience day-to-day life in the banking environment.

The intern will aim to gain a strong understanding of the following:

  • Provide business / financial analysis and/or general finance / accounting or related operational support as assigned.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting deck.
  • Responsible for running daily regulatory monitoring reports and preparing regulatory returns.
  • Assist in the documentation of the finance processes.
  • Participate in Finance related projects. 

Required Skills and Abilities

The intern should possess the following attributes:

  • Organized, diligent with an eye for details.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess excellent time management skills and comfortable with managing multiple deliverables at a time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • VBA knowledge is not required but preferred.
  • Be able to build progressive relationships with stakeholders globally.

Requirements:

  • Year 2 and Year 3 Undergraduates.
  • Ability to commit for a full-time internship from May 2024 to December 2024
