About the Programme:

The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You’ll quickly gain the confidence to take on real projects by learning first-hand how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. You’ll feel supported by colleagues from across our business and start to develop your professional network.

About the division:

Working in markets around the world, our people make us strong. They are Deutsche Bank. Without Human Resources, we could never source, develop and retain the best talent, or apply the strategies that motivate their performance.

We have a key role in the delivery of a culture that aligns risks and rewards, attracts and develops talented individuals, fosters teamwork and partnership, and makes a positive contribution to the countries in which we operate.

Our people in Human Resources find and recruit the brightest talent. They develop their skills by providing them with structured, on-going training. They give every single member of our staff the chance to achieve their career goals and make their work exceptionally rewarding.

About the role:

Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. You will work on current projects and develop an understanding of our culture, methods and systems by collaborating with a broad range of colleagues in order to provide accurate financial results and insights. The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Human Resources meets your needs and aspirations.

This program is constructed of rotations across various teams within the Human Resources division. Working on our day-to-day business or on challenging, business-critical projects, you will acquire a broad knowledge of different areas. Your tasks will vary according to your precise role.

Areas where you might work could include:

  • Talent & Development
  • Business Advisory
  • Performance & Reward

What we look for:

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.

To be eligible for the 2025 Summer Internship Programme you must:

Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st December 2025 and 31st July 2026.
