Summer Internship 2024 -Business Analyst Intern- Mathematics

The Programme

Join us this Summer for our Structured Internship Program from May to August 2024. 

In addition to gaining valuable work experience alongside industry experts, you will also benefit from ongoing engagement, career development and networking activities. 

You will join the Southeast Asia treaty underwriting team as a Business Analyst intern in Singapore and will be responsible for monitoring of treaty underwriting portfolio, which vary across client and markets in terms risk assessment (e.g. property treaty business by natural catastrophe/fire risk, pricing, and contractual wording.

What You Will Do

• Support cross-functional project and conduct market research. 
• Prepare market factsheets across lines of businesses. 
• Analyze financial reports of insurers and reinsurers. 
• Communicate complex problems and its solutions in a structured manner.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing a University degree in preferably Natural / Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or relevant Insurance qualifications. 
• A high degree of analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with structured and logical thinking 
• Experience in programming would be an added advantage. 
• Possess a team-oriented attitude. 
• Able to work within tight timelines.
