About the Team:

The Global Value Advisory (GVA) organization is chartered with articulating the value of adopting SAP technology solutions and differentiating SAP as the innovation partner of choice.

We are a global team of 50 people. We work on really exciting projects that impact our team of 700+ worldwide. Our projects are strategic and give a good insight into how a large technology organization is driven from a global point of view.  

A key focus area for the Global VA team in 2024 is to execute the extend our Value Strategy, which focuses on revitalizing and re-injecting, the Value DNA across regions and LoBs based on the evolving industry realities and SAP’s new corporate strategy.  

A key pillar in this transformation is to support our teams in strategic customer engagements in the world with state-of-the-art innovations and strategic guidance on the deal and developing new ways of delivering Value across the ecosystem.  

Hence, we aim at delivering the VA transformation and support the build of a unified VA community and brand globally. 

Position title: SAP Intern / Student worker - Global Value Advisory. 
Location: Singapore. 
Working Hours: minimum 3 days/week. 

In this role, you will work closely with the Global Value Advisory leadership team which includes:

Tasks include among others:

• Supporting the Regional Partners in programs to elevate scale of value thinking and value creation in the regions, deal engagements under supervision, executing and tracking initiatives, building tools to enable teams, track our business or review performance.
• The candidate will work in an environment with experienced, former Top Management Consultants (McKinsey, BCG, Booz, Bain, etc.) and can expect tremendous professional coaching and growth. 

Required Skills and Abilities

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

• The ideal candidate should be one year ahead of her/his graduation (graduate studies preferred), specific academic field of study is secondary (i.e., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, etc.). 
• Analytical thinking, a passion for problem solving and the ability to manage tasks/projects independently are of the essence.
• Experience in program or large-scale project management involving several stakeholder groups a plus.
• Previous work experience in (strategy) consulting experience a plus.
• A self-starter and independent thinker with high motivation, positive can-do attitude and drive, who can run with various tasks.
• You are a strong collaborator, who is not scared of working with a global team virtually.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is key.
• Proficiency in English is a must, Mandarin or other Asian language a plus.
