The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic.  

The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.  

The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices. 

What You Will Do

  • Champion Shopee to merchants to onboard across our business models including Shopee’s marketplace and logistics arm (Shopee Xpress)
  • See through the entire end-to-end acquisition process including but not limited to lead generation, door-to-door / face-to-face pitches and negotiations and store set-up.  
  • Identify whitespaces through trend observation, competitor analysis, industry research to solidify and grow Shopee’s market leadership.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Currently studying in a recognized university or polytechnic.
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong ownership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enjoy interacting and forming relationships with partners.
  • Analytical and comfortable with data, Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Relevant experience in e-commerce is a plus.
  • Industry knowledge in FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle or Electronics is an advantage.

Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months).

Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply.
