The Programme

Our Marketing teams conceptualize and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility.  

The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement.

The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users.  

Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localize and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market.  

What You Will Do

  • Perform industry research and competitive intelligence across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and other Shopee markets.
  • Coordinate and compile regional Public Relations (PR) reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and vetting of Public Relations (PR) materials across Shopee’s markets such as press releases, media presentations, internal newsletters etc.
  • Engage in the planning, development and execution of regional Public Relations (PR) campaigns and projects.
  • Support content ideation and development for media channels. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations/Marketing.
  • Other disciplines with an interest in Public Relations (PR), Communications or Integrated Marketing are also welcome to apply.
  • Basic understanding of Public Relations (PR) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and enjoy interacting and forming relationships with partners.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to work with materials from Mandarin-speaking markets.
  • Comfortable working with data; must be proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months).

Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply.
