Deutsche Bank Bogging Challenge

The Deutsche Bank Blogging Challenge

Deutsche Bank continue to ask some interesting questions in their Blogging Challenge. The challenge poses a monthly question to give you an opportunity to express your opinions about the banking sector in blog format.

The blogging challenge question for October

This month the challenge is focussing on the moral debate around the banking industry in the wake of the (continuing) financial crisis. The new Co-Chairman of Deutsche Bank, Anshu Jain, recently spoke at the 2012 Economic Conference in Germany and is quoted as saying:

“We in the banking industry must face up to the biggest challenge of all: renewing our contract with society.

The contract between banks and society was broken during the crisis. Banks are now viewed with suspicion. That’s understandable. We have to work harder to prove our activities are safe. Put simply, banks have fallen from grace. We must restore your trust in us.”

Give your opinion on how banks can use social responsibility to reconnect with society and restore the public’s trust. Join the debate now for the chance to win tickets to a performance of your choice.

To get some ideas on how to start your blog article entry for this months challenge, make sure you read over some of septembers entries to the blogging question which was "what does great performance look like to you?"

When you've had your post published on the db blogging site, remember to post it out to your network on Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn so your friends and connections can vote for your story. The prize on offer each month is $250 SGD to spend on tickets to an event of your choice.
