Summer Internship Program

The BNY Summer Internship Program provides high-potential students with a rewarding 10-week internship, offering hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and insights into a global financial organization.

Program Features

• Enterprise-led intern orientation with executive speaker series and tailored training.
• Challenging work assignments with mentorship and skill development.

• Training in professional etiquette, financial services fundamentals, and technical/business skills.

Operations

Interns will work on projects supporting the client investment lifecycle, including account creation, trading, clearing, settling, holding, servicing, managing, distributing, and restructuring assets.

• Asset Servicing: Solutions for managing, administering, and overseeing investments worldwide.
• Pershing: Clearing broker solutions for advisors, managers, and wealth firms.
• Utilities: Enterprise-wide operational functions such as KYC, contracts, client activation, account opening & maintenance, tax, and billing services.

Program Eligibility

• Enrollment in a 4-year degree program (business or technology majors preferred).
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or better.
• No sponsorship required for employment visa status.
