Intern - Data & AI - Data Engineering - Computer Science -Off-cycle Jul-Dec 2024

The Programme

You will be assisting the Data & AI team in their day-to-day operations, business-as-usual (BAU) processes and other data-related tasks. 

What You Will Do

• Build a robust and scalable Enterprise Data Platform for batch/real-time data processing and machine learning model.
• Develop data processing pipelines for ingestion, modelling, analysis, mining and reporting with SQL, Spark, Python. 
• Solve technical challenges posted to the Enterprise Data Platform.
• Collaborate with CapitaLand’s Infrastructure, Business Analysts, and the Data Science team for data engineering support and development/deployment of machine learning models.
• Support data management projects when needed and perform additional data-related tasks.  

Required Skills and Abilities

• Preferred studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong programming experience in SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Possess a strong willingness to learn on the job continuously, embracing new and varied technologies that are centered around all aspects of data management.
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and Spark will be advantageous.
• Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and partner with business stakeholders.
