Intern - Group Technology- Application Services - Off-cycle Jul-Dec 2024

The Programme  

As an intern, you will be assisting the Application Services team on various IT projects covering the entire project life cycle, including post-implementation activities such as change requests, application support, and audit activities. 

What You Will Do

• Support project management activities such as requirement gathering sessions, documentation, business user coordination, testing, and training.  
• Assist in technology audit(s) for existing solutions, including liaising with the audit team, managing timelines, collating information, and documenting findings for reporting. 
• Assist in promoting awareness of digital solutions.  
• Contribute to the design and build/configuration of IT applications (PowerApps, RPA, SharePoint etc.). 
• Offer technical support to end-users, addressing queries and issues related to the applications. 
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related disciplines. 
• Able to communicate well and have a strong sense of logic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel.
• Willingness to explore innovative solutions and technologies to enhance user experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and cloud services for application deployment is a plus.
