Intern - Oral and Skin & Sustainability Intern - Business

The Programme

Delivering strategic plans, innovation projects and key marketing campaigns down into the Southeast Asia and Taiwan Markets. 

The intern will be working in the Oral Care Area Team and will specifically help look after the Gum Health category.  
 
The intern will be able to collaborate across the organization with visibility from the Global Category Teams as well as the 7 local markets that make up the SEAT business unit.  
 
There will also be a lot of cross collaboration with other functions such as medical, regulatory and local commercial teams to ensure that the plans are rolled out and implemented in the markets. 
 
Period of Internship Required: Jan 2024– June 2024. 
 
You will be required to:

• Cascade and adapt global plans and projects and roll-out with the markets. 
• Lead specific innovation projects ensuring timely launches in the markets. 
• Create and localize full-funnel campaigns which are fit for purpose in the markets. This will entail the intern working across the multiple consumer touchpoints and the consumer journey. 
• Coordinate with local stakeholders to ensure key activities and initiatives are properly implemented and executed. 
• Track local market performance to ensure that targets and plans are met.

Learning Outcomes:

You will be able to:

• Understand how to adapt and localize global plans and transform them into campaigns fit for the local markets. 
• Understand how to run a campaign across the entire CEJ and multiple platforms. 
• Understand how to create campaigns across the marketing funnel from Awareness to purchase. 
• Create marketing materials for different consumer and media touchpoints: 
  
  • TV. 
  • Digital Media. 
  • In-store. 
  • Expert/ HCP-facing. 
  • Gain exposure to various agencies which handle creative production and media planning. 
  • Gain skills and experience in digital media and digital commerce. 
• Gain exposure in launching products into markets with visibility and interaction across the entire project team and process (from planning, to production, to launch) with accountability on delivering to timelines. 
• Gain leadership skills by coordinating and interacting with different markets and stakeholders within the organization. 
• Gain valuable experience in working with and within the different markets within Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

Required Skills and Abilities

Preferred School/Course of Intern: Business/Marketing.

Business Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelors or Masteral degree in the field of management, marketing or business administration 
• Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, ideally document management and database systems – Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint).

Behavioral Skills and Competencies:

• Strong written and oral communication skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills and works well in teams and with other people. 
• Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment. 
• Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams. 
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, and problem-solve. 
• Strong drive for performance and attention to details. 
• A keen interest in marketing, product and development, and a passion for knowledge.
