The Programme

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in the Southeast Asia Taiwan (SEAT) Medical Affairs team.  
 
With assigned mentors, the trainee will support ongoing medical-led projects and learn various aspects of Medical Affairs e.g., Claims support, scientific literature reviews/ summaries, evidence generation, consumer insights, medical area governance, publication preparations, and medical information requests.  
 
This is a great opportunity for the individual to experience and gain perspectives in Medical Affairs within a Consumer Health organization. 
 
Period of Internship Required: Jan 2024 – June 2024. 
 
You will be required to:

  • Support on-going medical-led projects and workstreams related to the categories of Wellness/Oral Health/OTC. Details to be determined during onboarding prior to start of the internship based on current business needs and strengths of trainee. 
  • Participate in end-to-end development of category and product claims. 
  • Participate in literature reviews and scientific analysis to value-add to innovation projects. 
  • Be trained on related platforms/systems: - E.g. For preparation, approval and review of Scientific documents. 
  • Learn how to generate scientific documents like Claim Support Summaries, Response documents to Health Authorities, Medical information, Scientific modules.

Learning Outcomes:

You will be able to:

  • Experience and participate in medical affairs related processes, activity, and its role in the R&D ecosystem. 
  • Experience being part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced Consumer Health organization 
  • Learn various processes and platforms that support medical affairs activities. 
  • High level scientific and business aspects of categories such as Wellness/Oral Health/OTC.

Required Skills and Abilities

Preferred School/Course of Intern: Pharmacy, Life sciences, Health sciences.

  • Educational background – studying Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences related degree (undergraduates completed Year 2 or Year 3 when starting role).
