Summer Internship Programmes

Applications are open now for 2027 HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking Summer Internship Programmes in Hong Kong.

Build your career at the centre of Asia's growth with HSBC. You will work with leading companies, investors and institutions on business-critical activity that shapes markets and supports key decisions across the region.

You will contribute from day one, whether that involves analysing companies and sectors, supporting live transactions, helping clients manage risk, financing long-term projects, or strengthening client relationships, while collaborating with diverse teams across countries, products and time zones. Backed by HSBC's strong regional presence and global network, you will gain broad exposure, structured training, and support from experienced colleagues.

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as we recruit on a rolling basis and may close applications before the advertised date once all vacancies are filled. In person or Virtual Assessment Centres are planned from September to November.

Only one application will be accepted per year across the HSBC Group (including Hang Seng Bank). Candidates should make an informed decision before applying by reviewing the various business areas and location sections on our website.

Requirements

• Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing in June 2027;
• Your graduation date should fall between November 2027 and July 2028;
• Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 (as appears on your official university transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent to this;
• Be fluent in English;
• We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship.
