What to expect? 

Global Functions at HSBC comprises a number of teams that, together play a vital role in supporting the bank’s Global Businesses. We are hiring graduates into Human Resources which is responsible for implementing HSBC’s people strategy including talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

By joining our Graduate Programme in Human Resources, you will be expected to:

  • Rotate through all areas of HR - from Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Learning & Talent, Operations, Advisory, Consultancy to Employee Relations which will help you to develop a well-rounded understanding of the function and establish your network;
  • Get involved in projects supporting varied businesses and functions to develop your commerciality and business acumen;
  • Participate in meetings and discussions, identify change opportunities and propose new ideas and innovative HR solutions that contributes to the Bank's growth ambitions and our People Priorities; and
  • Be the Bank's Brand Ambassador and will lead/promote/participate in bank wide campaigns and activities to inculcate a sense of pride and belonging across all staff members

Who can apply?

To be eligible, you must be a final year undergraduate or recent graduate with availability to work full time from October 2023 onwards. Candidates with a good academic standing of at least second-class honors degree or above are preferred.

You must possess:  

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good learning attitude and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The legal right to work in Singapore.

Whilst we are inclusive and support applications from all degree disciplines, candidates with Human Resources, Liberal Arts and Humanities, Marketing, and Psychology related disciplines will typically have relevant experience/related studies to apply to the role.
