About the Programme

During the 12-month Apprenticeship Programme, you’ll gain hands on work experience, develop your knowledge of banking and financial services and will be provided opportunities to take on responsibilities in a selection of interesting projects. During this time, you’ll also improve your professional and personal skills and receive practical and on the job training. The aim at the end of the programme is to secure ongoing employment with HSBC and you’ll have the opportunity to be considered for exciting roles in the organisation.

1. Wealth and Personal Banking 

   o Network and Contact Centre Business 

   We help customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect, and grow their wealth. Our international network and breadth of expertise enable us to support individuals, families, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs around the world.

   o HSBC Life 

   It is all about people and the promises we make. Our team of experts help deliver on these promises by providing a wide range of insurance products and services that meet the needs of our customers and by delivering the best customer experiences across Asia-Pacific.

2. Digital Business Services

Our Digital Business Services teams are the foundation of HSBC, providing essential support across technology, operations and key central business services for our global businesses and functions. We play a vital role in driving great experiences for customers and colleagues and enabling the bank’s strategy.

Requirements:

To be eligible for a place in the programme, you must be a Polytechnic graduate with no more than 2 years of work experience from any discipline, available to work full time from May / June 2024 for a duration of 12 months. Those who have completed National Service are also eligible to apply.

• You must possess: 
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good learning attitude and with a can-do personality
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English
• The legal right to work in Singapore
