Internship - Machine Learning and Data Analytics - Software Engineering

The Programme

The student, as part of the BE TTI PTE team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Machine Learning/Deep Learning and Data Analytics projects related to Product and Final Test.  

In your new role you will:

• Conduct Statistical and Exploratory Data Analysis. 
• Be involved in other Backend Data and Analytics projects. 
• Build Data Analysis and Machine Learning models for Predictive analysis, Image classification and other tasks. 
• Learn and employ new techniques and new tools to support the ML projects.

Internship learning outcomes:

• Understand the main steps of Back-end Assembly Packaging process, Back-end Final Test production procedures and the subsequent data post-processing. 
• Learn the concept and application of Machine learning for Back-end Assembly/Final-test. 
• Gain knowledge on the concept and application of Statistical methods and ML techniques for back-end. 
• Make intensive use of batch programming, R, Python and XML language for programming of a data analysis tool. 
• Enhance communication skills through interaction with international colleagues.  

Required Skills and Abilities

• On track to attain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics. 
• Know-how in Machine learning and programming languages preferred: R, Python and XML.s 
• Motivated to learn and pick up new knowledge/skills. 
• This is a minimum 5-month internship opportunity.
