Internship: Global Markets, Global Structured Solutions - July 2024 - December 2024.

The Programme

The Structurer is primarily responsible for being in-the-know about multiple products across all asset classes as he/she would utilize such knowledge to create ideas, products or solutions for clients.  He/ She will initially work with other client facing teams to deliver the ideas, products or solutions to meet client’s suitability.

This role covers multi-asset products and multi-client base (corporates, financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions).  

The Structurer is meticulous and self-motivated and is willing to self-acquire specific product knowledge to perform the responsibilities of this role. 

For this internship, the intern will:

• Assist the structuring team to organize information in various asset classes such as credit, foreign exchange, bond, funds and equity in the public or private markets.
• Assist in life cycle management of deals during the initial, execution and post-deal execution (transaction documentations and post trade follow-up on structured products).
• Assist in the streamlining of manual processes or enable automation of such manual processes.
• Develop marketing content/presentations for team’s ideas, products or solutions. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Undergraduates with engineering, computer science and other related disciplines are preferred.
• Keen interest in financial markets and various types of financial products.
• Proficient in programming skills in Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel and Python.
• Willingness to learn.
• Fluent in English and one of the following foreign languages:  Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia or Malay.
