Internship: Global Markets, Institutional Sales – Syndicate - July 2024 - December 2024.

What You Will Do 

• Assist the desk to perform research on generation of new bond issue ideas.
• Maintain and analyze new issue bond databases across various currencies to identify issuance trends.
• Helping to provide written market updates for internal consumption, incorporating market news, secondary market flows and market indicators that impact bond issuance abilities.
• Assist the team to consolidate Certificate of Deposit which are shared by different banks. Subsequently, the syndicate team will send out to the clients.
• Assist in Pnl reconciliation with TFC and monthly MIS.
• Assist in data extraction and contents preparation for Management’s strategy meetings.
• Assist in regular client events preparation.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Undergraduates with business analytics, engineering, computer science and other related disciplines are preferred.
• Keen interest in financial markets and various types of financial products.
• Proficient in programming skills in Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel and Python.
• Highly motivated individual who can work well in a team.
• Results-oriented and able to deal with pressure.
• Willingness to learn with a positive attitude.
• Fluent in English and one of the following foreign languages:  Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia or Malay.
• Bachelor's in business is preferred.
