Immerse yourself on Optiver’s dynamic trading floor. Work on complex algorithms and continuously optimise our trading strategies to accurately price the thousands of instruments we trade. Giving back to the community
We believe in giving back to the communities we come from and operate within. This drive for 'better every day takes a lot of different shapes, to give our people opportunities to support their preferred causes. Here are some examples:
We have volunteer days for all staff, allowing our people to dedicate their time to the things they care for. Recently, we engaged in a beach clean-up program, collecting a total of 60kg in waste at the Pasir Ris beach.. | We support SaucyBean coffees, who links specialty arabicas to amazing NGOs (such as the Jane Goodall Institute and Food from the Heart), and pledge them 25% of their profits. | ||
We partner with the Singapore Association of Visually Handicapped in the Mobile Massage team initiative, contributing towards building a more inclusive society. Our weekly massages are delivered by a group of qualified, visually-handicapped masseurs. | We incorporate charity initiatives into our annual company trip. Graduate Program
Launch your career in trading
Immerse yourself in the buzz and excitement of Optiver’s dynamic trading floor. Work on complex algorithms and continuously optimise trading strategies to accurately price the thousands of instruments that Optiver trades.
Start your first 4 weeks of learning in the Optiver Academy, the firm’s global training program in Amsterdam. Once you’ve got the basics covered, you’ll come back to Singapore to put your knowledge into practice and start trading in a unique simulated trading environment.

I studied Chemistry, which was a great background to have as I knew the chemical symbols when we start trading new metals. Gender Equality

Below are some examples of global initiatives that we've implemented (to date) to support gender equality.
Sponsorship of Informatics Olympiad programs
We’re focused on growing the representation of women in STEM talent pools, by supporting Informatics Olympiad programs to encourage young diverse talent to pursue their interests in Computer science at an early age (i.e., secondary and tertiary education).
Stemming the Gap: The Free STEM fund’ with Women Win
The Optiver Foundation has partnered with Women Win to develop a fund that enhances equal access to STEM for underprivileged girls and women.
The fund envisions providing grants to youth-led, women-led and community-based organisations, social enterprises and educational institutions in the global south, including Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Scholarship in partnership with Oxford University
The Optiver Foundation has partnered with the University of Oxford to launch an international scholarship programme to encourage diversity in STEM-related education.
The scholarship programme will provide support for 30 masters’ students over a period of five years, and is focussed on empowering women from low and middle-income countries, to access STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education at a postgraduate level.
