Group Center of Excellence Solar Intern - July-Dec 2024

What You Will Do

• Intern will work to analyze operational data from renewable assets (solar, wind, battery storage), via daily reports, online monitoring platforms. Draft and create visualizations for various levels of reporting. Communicate with various stakeholders from different Geo-markets.
• Intern will support Innovation project planning, execution and monitoring activities (e.g. solar module test bedding).
• Intern will support the Group Center of Excellence team to develop, roll out, and implement Group Standards to measure KPI (key performance indicators) of Sembcorp renewable assets.
• Intern will assist Solar Asset Engineer in project development and market reviews.

• Intern will appreciate the value of real operational data from Renewable Assets (solar, wind, battery storage).
• Interns will get exposure from professionals from various renewable energy asset fleets, championing the energy transition, from brown to green.
• Intern will enhance communication skills to translate operational data to insights. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Analytical with attention to detail.
• Good Excel, PowerPoint, and word skills are advantageous.
• Good skills with visualization software PowerBI (or equivalent) would be advantageous, else OJT will be provided
