The Engineering and Technology team is at the core of the Shopee platform development.

The team is made up of a group of passionate engineers from all over the world, striving to build the best systems with the most suitable technologies.

What You Will Do

• Participate in building Shopee Big Data platforms such as DataMap, System Scheduler, Data Visualization products.
• Understand the technical design of the product and implement front-end features using ReactJS, JS.
• Test features thoroughly and deliver them to multiple environments, ensuring they pass QA procedures.
• Monitor features in the production environment and address live bugs promptly.

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to:

• Gain exposure to various cutting-edge development frameworks and tools.
• Contribute to enterprise-level and industry-leading products, enhancing your skills in front-end development and software engineering.
• Learn the Big Data platform ecosystem. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, expected to graduate in 2025.
• Good fundamentals of computer science and web development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and keen to learn new technologies.
• Candidates must be able to commit at least 3 months of full-time internship from May 2024.
