We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Data Centre Electrical Engineer. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation and maintenance of electrical systems within our data centres.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning:
    Collaborate with senior engineers to assist to develop concept Critical Data Centre equipment design with focus on Electrical Power System. i.e. EHT Transformer, Switch bay, Ring Main Unit, Transformers. Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Installation and Maintenance:
    Support the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems. Participate in routine maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Assist in identifying and resolving electrical issues within the data centre. Work closely with the operations team to troubleshoot and address electrical failures promptly.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the data centre infrastructure.
  • Upgradation and Optimization:
    Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement and optimization of electrical systems to meet evolving data centre requirements.

The Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong academic background with a focus on power systems, electrical design, and energy management.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
