We are excited to welcome a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer in Data Centre. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within our data centres.

Make an Impact by

  • Design and Development: Work closely with experienced engineers to actively participate in the design and advancement of mechanical systems for data center projects. Aid in the formulation of plans and specifications aimed at improving the effectiveness and dependability of mechanical infrastructure. This encompasses the design of critical data center equipment, such as Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Sequence of Operations, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression Systems, DRUPS, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
  • Installation and Testing: Support the installation and testing of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications. Participate in commissioning activities to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical issues within the data centre. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and address mechanical failures promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of mechanical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the data centre infrastructure.
  • Upgradation and Optimization: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement and optimization of mechanical systems to meet evolving data centre requirements.

Skills for Success 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
